Youngtek expects full year shipments in 2007 to achieve strong growth in LED

Youngtek company expects full year 2007 LED shipments reached 10 billion units, 11 months of this year, the cumulative shipments have reached 9 billion 337 million units.

Strong shipments are driven by orders from Epistar and Arima OptoELectronics. As for the full year 2008, Youngtek's LED shipments are likely to reach 20 billion units.

Youngtek plans to expand its monthly output to 1 billion 50 million units in the first quarter of 2008 and will further increase production by more than $2 billion per month in the third quarter if demand for LED continues to rise. The company currently produces 1 billion 20 million units per month.
