Tainan City, the first batch of LED street lights completed

Tainan city is divided into 3 zones for setting the LED Street project, third projects have been completed, estimated annual savings of about NT $about 23000000 yuan electricity.

Pointed out that the Tainan municipal government works bureau, the city with the Energy Bureau of the Ministry of economic affairs for expanding the establishment LED Street project, the city's 37 administrative execution is divided into 3 major areas; 14 District third districts with 17 thousand and 224 lights, was completed in July 5th, the remaining 2 District projects have been nearly completed.

The municipal works bureau pointed out that, after the third facelift LED street, district each year will save more than NT $23 million in electricity; on reducing carbon dioxide emissions contribution, equivalent to planting 19 thousand and 221 trees.

Municipal Public Works Bureau pointed out that part of the street lamp replacement project is still in the construction of the test stage, may affect the operation of some lamps; and some of the new LED street lamp failure is caused by the electric circuit. The contractor has set up 24 hour repair service hotline, and will be posted on the pole; contractor must be free of light receiving repair failure notification within 24 hours, otherwise according to the time penalty of NT $500 for punitive damages.
