SDK red / yellow light LED chip production doubled

SDK said, based on gallium nitride Blu ray LED is currently mainly used in mobile phones and displays, due to the development of new applications such as LED backlight, in the next 5 years, the annual growth rate of this product is close to 20%. SDK is planning to invest $1 billion 500 million in 2008 to further increase the GaN based blue / green LED and based on AlGaInP red light / Huang Guangchao LED chip production reached 400 million / month.
