Taiwan LED electronics manufacturer Bright LED said recently that the company recently received LED lamps orders, including sample orders from Taiwan area and the Ministry of economic affairs, from China lamps manufacturers orders. With the price of LED street lights continued to decline, Bright LED expects the market to grow in 2009 and 2010.
Bright LED said in August that it had begun discussions with the Taiwan Department of economics and has provided LED street lamp samples. The company expects to provide another 100 lumens per watt 1000-2000 samples in 2008. Although the initial delivery amount is expected in the 2008 company can supply 50 thousand LED street lamp, the Ministry of economic planning in Taiwan will be the 13 million 500 thousand street lamp for using LED lights, in some countries, including Thailand, Southeast Asia, Indonesia is also planning to switch to LED street lights. In addition, Bright LED has recently signed a contract with three manufacturers in mainland China and received a total of $1000 worth of orders of $two, and the company expects to receive another two orders by the end of 2007.
Although Bright LED has plans to provide 5000 lumens per watt to LED in the second half of the year to mainland China, due to the production is not expected to have to modify the company's shipments to 3500. The other 1500 will be available in 2008.
