OSRAM opto TopLED black series contrast higher reflection less

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors (OSRAM-os) launched a new preparation of lens TopLED black series, this is the first TopLED with a black package, the typical 1.9 CD can be realized in the current of 20 mA luminous intensity, which means that its luminance is comparable to a white package LED, and the higher degree, less reflection. Red and yellow LED target applications for oil price display and public transport passenger information systems and other display.

The new lens TopLED black series can achieve superior contrast and clarity in any lighting condition. Due to the use of black packaging, the incident light will not produce any reflection. Therefore, even in the strong sunlight, the assembly of black packaging LED display can still show excellent display effect, and high contrast, remote viewing is also clear and easy to read.

The LED has a 60 degree beam angle, optimized for display applications, can focus on the light to achieve the best viewing effect, which is an ideal alternative to traditional radial light emitting diodes. The LED is currently the only luminous intensity comparable to the white package LED black package LED.

TopLED black series will debut two versions of red and yellow. Due to the use of thin film chip, to ensure the realization of excellent luminous efficiency. As a "surface emitter," thin film LED emits almost all of the internal light from the surface.

As part of the SMT (surface mount technology), the LED is suitable for automated processing, so the LED can be used to produce the display at a lower cost than the radial LED. Its typical applications include oil price display, tram and bus station name display and various types of public transport passenger information system.

The new TopLED black series can clearly display price information, even if the distance is very far, the speed is very fast, there are direct sunlight in the price figure, the driver can see whether it is worth parking refueling.
