It is worth noting that the upcoming September 1st, the EU LED lighting products the latest energy efficiency requirements will be implemented. The EU is the highest demand for imports of LED products. LED products into the EU market, must comply with the safety requirements of the low voltage directive, Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive electromagnetic compatibility requirements, RoHS and WEEE directive environmental requirements and energy efficiency requirements of the ErP directive. In addition, LED products also need to comply with the relevant provisions of the law of conformity assessment procedures, the only way to add CE logo, the smooth entry into the EU market.

According to the ErP directive, the EU stage developed energy efficiency requirements of different lamps, launched in 2009 for the non directional light source (mainly halogen lamp, fluorescent light) after lamp EC244/2009, fluorescent lamp, ballast and so on the EC245/2009, and in December 2012 launched for all LED lighting and directional light source EU1194/2012.
