OSRAM launched two white Oslon LX LED light can be injected into the light guide plate 80%

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors (OSRAM) launched two white version of the Oslon LX LED, designed to provide backlight for LCD display, can emit bright light, if equipped with optimized lens, can be light, into the thin light guide plate. Therefore, the display can be more slim, even one incident can achieve uniform brightness. Oslon LED is currently the world's smallest 1 W LED.

Oslon LX LED compact design, the typical light output at 350 mA operating current up to 75 LM or 90 LM, the light from both sides even only from single incident to a maximum of 65 inches of TV and computer display backlighting with uniform illumination. The angle of the lens of the polynomial lens is 125 degrees, and nearly 80% of the light is injected into the light guide plate.

Oslon LX offers two color gamut versions: white and white. White Version (high color white) covering 100% of the sRGB color gamut, typical light output is 75 LM; the ultra white version of LED covering 80% of the sRGB color gamut, typical light output is 90 LM, Biduobai version is slightly brighter.

The Oslon LX system is manufactured by using the latest ThinGaN chip technology combined with the chip level conversion technology, which can achieve excellent light efficiency and extremely uniform light distribution. The lens can be optimized to achieve the maximum light extraction efficiency, and its excellent beam characteristics can ensure the high efficiency of nearly 80%. The shape of the new LED is only 3 x 3 x 1.6 mm, especially suitable for light from the side into the thickness of 2 to 4mm light guide plate, so the use of the LED can produce a very thin display. These characteristics make it a key product in the LCD market. Assembly Oslon LX LED TV will be held in Berlin this year, September 4th to 9 at the IFA exhibition debut.

Two versions of the Oslon LX can emit a large amount of light from a small surface. Equipped with an optimized lens, the light can be extremely efficient into the light guide plate.
