Kodak 45lm/W OLED lighting and display 66lm/W products

Kodak Eastman (Eastman) in the "Green Device 2009" (October 2009 ~ 30 ~ 28, Pacific Yokohama Convention and Exhibition Center) on the display of white OLED lighting appliances. The instrument is 6 inches x 6 inches in size. The color temperature is 3000K, the color rendering index is more than 90, and the luminous efficiency is increased to more than 45lm/W. Although the show is 45lm/W products, but the company said it has developed more than 66lm/W high efficiency products.

In order to improve the efficiency of light extraction, a self developed structure was used to extract the reflected light from the surface of the glass. Luminescent materials, blue fluorescent materials, green and red phosphorescent material. The organic material layer adopts the structure of overlapping green and red phosphorescent material layer on the blue fluorescent material layer.

Kodak OLED component adopts the structure of organic layer sandwiched between the ITO electrode and the metal vapor deposition layer. The metal vapor deposition can also play a role in series with the OLED element. Therefore, it can be driven by low current and high voltage. The company said that this method is more simple than the use of metal wire connection and is conducive to reducing costs.
