Fairchild launches the new LED driver for LED flash applications to ensure ultra low power consumption

Fairchild launched a single wire programmable LED driver FAN5645, provides a flexible and compact solution for flashing LED indicator. The device records flash mode, reducing the need for continuous control of the system processor. FAN5645 consumes a small current (typically 33 A), with respect to the power consumption of the system processor mA, can significantly save battery power. The LED drive FAN5645 is able to work independently, eliminating the need for a LED (interrupt driven processor) control in addition to the need for an interrupt order in the processor, eliminating the bandwidth of the processor.

FAN5645 uses a compact MLP 3.0mm x 3.0mm package, suitable for mobile phones, toys, home appliances, mobile products, Bluetooth and rechargeable flashlights and other space constrained portable devices or battery driven products. FAN5645 uses a lead-free terminal, with humidity sensitive characteristics, in line with the requirements of the IPC/JEDEC standard J-STD-020 lead-free reflow.

FAN5645 per thousand lot price of $0.65, you can obtain samples, 8-10 weeks delivery.
