Building Jianming Basque area library

The Basque library and renovation area expansion project, by IMB (Gloria Iriarte, Eduardo M and Agust n de GICA case, La Brena) to undertake the architectural design firm. The old building was built in 1890, was once the seat of the Basque provincial government. In the 20s of last century, the building was converted into a library. In 2003, IMB accepted an improved congestion environment, entrusted with its design and appearance in line with the characteristics of the Commission in twenty-first Century.

The old building has been carefully restored from inside to outside. On the basis of the original building, the architect made use of glass and steel beam to make it into a kind of building with a futuristic style.
