Vishay launched CLCC-6 flat ceramic packaging VLMx62 series SMD LED

Vishay launched the first high strength yellow, using CLCC-6 flat ceramic package is light yellow and white power SMD LED series, the series has high optical power LED 40K/W or 60K/W 2800mcd ~ 9000mcd and low thermal resistance, mainly for the application of heat sensitive.

With ultra-thin thickness of only 0.9mm, VLMK62, VLMY62, CLCC-6 flat ceramic package and VLMW62 device allows the use of additional current drive, in order to achieve the maximum output, and keep the longer the longest 50000 hours of life, so they are in thermal management as the key to consider applications become the ideal light source.

The new LED is optimized for automotive and consumer applications, such as backlighting and lighting. Typical end products include hand-held mobile terminals, such as mobile phone and PDA; traffic lights; advertising display; bicycle lamp; household appliances, such as washing machine, dryer and refrigerator; exterior automotive lighting devices, such as steering lamp and brake lamp.

According to the JEDEC LevEL 4A standard pretreatment of CLCC-6 package lead free (Pb), and in line with RoHS. These LED through the AEC-Q101 automotive standard certification.

At present, the latest VLMx62 series of high power SMD LED sample and mass production has been available, bulk orders supply cycle of 6 weeks.
