International Lighting City Association (LUCI) 2013 annual meeting will be held on November 13th -16 in Guangzhou for the first time, which is following the Shanghai in 2006 after the second LUCI annual meeting of the Chinese member cities. The members will focus on Guangzhou city lighting construction, field trips to local lighting projects, enjoy the beautiful Pearl River, and the lighting design planning for the China metropolis characteristic to explore other exchanges, such as Shanghai, Beijing and Chongqing.
It is reported that the annual meeting of the International Association of lighting cities is an International Conference on the launch of the LUCI, is the annual event of global urban lighting managers. The annual meeting will have come from more than and 60 countries and regions around the world LUCI members, nearly 100 Chinese city lighting management, lighting, lighting designers and lighting engineers experts will gather in autumn Guangzhou, sharing the city lighting construction experience, development strategy and excellent light engineering cases, discusses some problems and challenges in the development of city lighting.
In recent years, Guangzhou city through scientific planning and construction, to carry out energy-saving lamps, the optimization of landscape lighting facilities and other initiatives, to undertake a comprehensive upgrade of some important streets and landscape lighting facilities, the use of light to build a city in the Pearl River and the axis as the focus of the tourist attractions, such as Canton Tower, Haixinsha and Haizhu bridge. In addition, Guangzhou is also in the urban landscape, underground tunnels, subway stations and historic sites to promote the application of LED lighting. At present, a total of about 110 thousand LED lights installed, a strong impetus to the development of Guangzhou green low-carbon.
