Taiwan Institute of industry technology new AC LED debut, brightness of 50 lumens per watt

Industry Technology Research Institute of Taiwan Prefecture said recently, the Institute has developed a brightness of 50 lumens per Watt AC LED, without AC-DC converter.

Is AC LED Industry Technology Research Institute of Taiwan area can be developed directly from the 60Hz/110 volt AC power supply, without the need for AC-DC converter. The product can be applied to indicators and neon lights.

Taiwan area LED Epistar and Tatung Tyntek, the manufacturer's subsidiary ForwardELectronics company in June this year is expected to start mass production of AC LED, per month for 1 million. LED conversion of AC is mainly used in indoor lighting, and LED into DC will be mainly used for outdoor signage lighting and street lights.
