The team will then try to improve the performance of the composite light emitting diode, possible methods include adjusting light emitting characteristics using the defect control of ZnO nanowires, or with metal particles modified ZnO nanowires surface using surface plasmon (sufraceplasmon) effect. The possible application of the flexible Zinc Oxide nanowire thin film also includes solar cells and sensors.
