SHARP launched multi chip LED lighting module

In December 4, 2007, SHARP in Hamburg (Sharp MicroELectronics Europe) European microelectronics introduced four new LED lighting module, several LED module is characterized by extremely long life cycle, 40 thousand hours of running time (80 degrees C) so that the whole system in the low cost of maintenance. With 80lm/W (depending on the module) light effect, SHARP LED in the forefront of energy efficiency in LED lighting.

The LED chip module consists of 30 component matrix (each 10 chips are connected in parallel and Series), the flux of these chips between 170-280lm (as determined by the module), and aluminum ceramic sheet 18 x 18 x 1.5 mm (aluminium ceramic plate) as the substrate material. Due to the installation of drilling holes, the module can be easily and firmly fixed on the appropriate cooling element.

Module color temperature is between 2800-6500K, two of which are "regular white", "warm white" type, comparable with the light bulb. The other two are high color rendering index white light, through the preparation of a combination of slightly different types of fluorescent powder, these two LED color index reached 90, with a high degree of non fading. This is essential to the application of artificial light that does not change the original appearance of the illuminated object. High color rendering LED modules are available in areas such as photography, window decoration, display of goods, and medical care, such as surgical lights.

The LED module can be used in many fields such as: reading lamp, desk lamp, decorative lighting, kitchen console direct and indirect lighting, stage and building site spotlights, also can be used as a large size LED display element. LED module also provides a lasting solution for the railway, aircraft, bus reading lights.
