ROHM to develop a new structure of flexible OLED device flagship high-end lighting

The Japanese manufacturer ROHM (ROHM Co. With this new structure, can improve the plastic substrate, due to lack of original OLED gas insulation easily lead to life affected by oxygen or water (Life time) the problem of not enough. Although still in the test, but the brightness of the product life expectancy is expected to be the same as the glass substrate OLED devices, up to ten thousand hours.

In addition, because the ROHM is rolled up flexible substrate, will be able to mass production of high Roll-to Roll production mode of manufacturing, the future will accelerate the establishment of production technology of Roll-to Roll process, and the development direction of packaging technology, enhance the device with a large area of the efforts.
