One New Change

One New Change is a mixed-use development located next to St. Pauls Cathedral and one of the largest retail spaces in London. Designed by French architect Jean Nouvel, in association with Sidell Gibson, the 8-storey development consists of offices, shops and a public roof terrace, with spectacular views of the cathedral. Speirs + Major was appointed by property developers Land Securities to design lighting for the retail space, exterior and roof-top terrace. The challenge was to create an attractive destination for shoppers, yet keep the building in its historic context next to St Pauls minimizing excessive retail lighting and light spill. Jean8 +
