Micrel new high brightness LED driver

MicrEL semiconductor high brightness MIC3230/31/32 driver LED series of new products, the series for 1W, 3W and even LED high power solid state lighting and general lighting products. The MIC3230/31/32 series has a wide operating input voltage range from 6V to 45V.

MIC323x LED driver with feedback voltage 250mV, can reduce the system power consumption, the series also provides a programmable current control function, can be driven with a variety of different current levels of LED. The entire product range can be increased to a high voltage, the maximum output power of the driver 70W.

MIC3230/31 with 10kHz to 1MHz adjustable working frequency and fixed frequency of MIC3232 with 400kHz, to provide flexibility for the design. In addition to the enhanced power drive function and reliability, the MIC3230/31 is also available in 12 pin MLF and 16 pin bare pad TSSOP in two packages.

MIC3231 frequency jitter function, with low EMI features, the highest EMI can be reduced 12dB.

All three products have PWM dimming function; enable pin to achieve low power shutdown; overvoltage protection (OVP); overtemperature protection and undervoltage lockout (UVLO). MIC3232 uses MSOP-10 package. All three integrated circuits are currently bulk supply, pricing from a thousand dollars at $1.20.
