LED factory’s April revenue shines

LED factory revenue increased across the board in April. Epistar hit NT$2.51 billion (the same below), setting another record high. LEDIC hit a new high for two consecutive months, while Dongbei reached an 18-month high. Industry players generally expect revenue to be better in May.
Epistar’s April revenue exceeded 2.5 billion yuan for the first time, reaching 2.51 billion yuan, with a monthly growth of 5% and an annual growth of 30%, setting a record high for two consecutive months. Jingdian spokesperson Zhang Shixian said that the overall demand is currently very strong, and the situation in May is also very good, but whether the revenue will rise further depends on the delivery situation. If the output situation is good, the turnover will rise again.
Redick’s revenue in April was 122 million yuan, a monthly growth of 8.79% and a year-on-year growth of 23.79%. Redick spokesman Su Yuping said that after bidding farewell to the off-season in the first quarter, Redick's growth has recovered and its revenue is expected to rise month by month.
The legal person predicts that Redick’s second-quarter revenue will increase by at least 30% compared with the first quarter. Since the profit base period in the first quarter is relatively low, the second-quarter profit growth rate is expected to double.
Dongbei’s consolidated revenue in April was 800 million yuan, an annual growth of 14.8% and a monthly growth of 6.3%, setting a new high in the past 18 months.
Dongbei spokesperson Weng Congzhi said that demand for lighting and backlight products continued to increase in the second quarter, and Dongbei’s second quarter revenue growth rate was at least double digits. As high-color-rendering LED backlight products are well received by the customer market, and stimulated by orders for new models from major international brands, Dongbei has also received orders from major Japanese manufacturers, and is expected to continue to show its strength in the second quarter.
Longda’s revenue in April was 1.18 billion yuan, a monthly growth of 4.8%, but a 5% decline from the same period last year. Director Longda said that both backlight and lighting application shipments grew in April. In the backlight part, shipments of direct-type backlight products were more prosperous. At the same time, products sold to first-tier assembly plants in mainland China also increased smoothly. In addition, flash application products were also successfully shipped to mainland brand customers.
