The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the 2024 project application guide, covering key special projects such as new displays

Recently, the 2024 project application guide for the National Key R&D Program of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology was released, covering 16 key special projects including "high-end functions and intelligent materials, advanced structures and composite materials, new displays and strategic electronic materials, high-performance manufacturing technology and major equipment, micro-nano electronic technology, and new energy vehicles".

Among them, the "New Display and Strategic Electronic Materials" special project involves four categories: new display materials and devices such as MicroLED/OLED and quantum dot technology, third-generation semiconductor materials and devices, and cutting-edge electronic materials and devices.

New display materials and devices include key technologies and industrialization of evaporated AMOLED materials and devices, high-performance green laser epitaxy materials, devices and application research, 8K laser display optical engines and anti-light screens, solution-method laminated QLED display key materials and device research, and high-efficiency crystalline circularly polarized OLED key materials Research on materials and devices, solution-processed ultra-high-resolution full-color organic microdisplay devices, quantum dot synergistic color reflective display technology, confinement liquid control and high-precision manufacturing of patterned arrays of optoelectronic materials, research on key technologies of solution-processed organic light-emitting diodes with molecular light-emitting dipole horizontally oriented light-emitting layers, for Micro High-resolution printing preparation technology of color conversion layer for LED full-color display, research on red, green and blue VCSEL materials, devices and applications for laser display.

The third generation of semiconductor materials and devices includes the industrialization technology of high-end metal organic sources and high energy density resistant packaging materials for third generation semiconductors.

High-power laser materials and devices include mid-infrared band glass fiber gain materials and applications, low-loss hollow core energy transfer fiber materials and applications, high-power quasi-continuous thulium-doped light Fiber laser and its applications, GHz repetition frequency femtosecond laser technology, high power carrying capacity SBS devices and applications, high power density 905nm multi-section semiconductor laser chips, semiconductor-high-quality crystal heterogeneous material growth and applications.

Cutting-edge electronic materials and devices include research on key topological materials and spin-orbit moment electronic devices for high-performance spatial intelligent computing, research on low-power CMOS oxide thin film transistors and their three-dimensional integration technology, organic tactile neuromorphic materials and devices based on the integration of sensing, memory and computing, wide spectrum response modulated quantum dot detection materials and their heterogeneous stacking integration technology, research on key technologies of fully transparent organic thin film transistors for artificial retina displays, and research on the semiconductor Te Research on optoelectronic devices and bionic visual perception chips, all-solid-state color reflective display devices based on phase change materials, and research on efficient in-situ doping materials that support high-performance germanium-based logic devices.
