According to reporters, the Ministry of Commerce is considering raising tariffs on a series of products, including LEDs. At present, Taiwanese companies still have a high market share in the LED industry chain. Once LED tariffs are raised, it will have a greater impact on foreign companies, and it will also help increase the market share of LED manufacturers in mainland China.
LED concept stocks surged in the afternoon, and many stocks showed a linear upward trend. Jufei Optoelectronics (19.540, 1.78, 10.02%) rose by more than 7% in a straight line, Qinshang Optoelectronics (16.59, 0.82, 5.20%) rose by more than 6%, Leyard (24.480, 1.74, 7.65%), Fujing Technology (11.41, 0.46, 4.20%), Huacan Optoelectronics (13.030, 0.67, 5.42%) were among the top gainers.

Taiwan’s major LED manufacturers Epistar (2448) and Canyuan (3061) suddenly fell to their limit after opening this morning. Epistar fell by 6.97%, Canyuan fell by as much as 6.76%, and New Century also fell by as high as 6.09%.
