Stan Technology's Micro LED production line is officially in mass production!

On the morning of June 25, the mass production ceremony of Stan Technology's Micro LED production line project was held at the Torch Graphene New Materials Industrial Park in Tong'an District, Xiamen City.


The Stan Technology Micro LED production line project is located in the Torch High-tech Zone of Xiamen City. It uses Stan Semiconductor as the chip design base and Stan Integration as the first-phase production base. It has a designed annual production capacity of 6 million sets of display chips, promoting Micro LED from pilot to mass production. The project products can meet the needs of downstream AR/VR, vehicle-mounted display and other application scenarios.
At the mass production ceremony, Liu Zhaojun, chairman of Stan Technology, said that after four years of pilot testing, the project was launched in Xiamen Torch High-tech Zone in 2022. Now that the mass production line has been officially completed and launched, it is inseparable from the strong support of the Xiamen Municipal People's Government, Xiamen Torch High-tech Zone, Xiamen Tong'an District People's Government, all shareholders, and Xiamen Bank. In the future, Stan Technology will actively interact efficiently with local enterprises in Xiamen to promote the development of local related industries. Adhering to the beautiful vision of "lighting the world with our microchips", Stain Technology will strive to transform the technical advantages of Micro LED into more market competitive products.
During this mass production ceremony, Stan Technology and optical solution provider Liding Optoelectronics officially signed a cooperation agreement. Liding Optoelectronics has a history of more than 20 years, and its products cover low-light night vision, infrared optics, computer vision, smart home, drones, and vehicle electronics.sub-fields, AR/VR, observation optics and security monitoring, as well as new areas of life science and medical health such as flow cytometers, biochemical analyzers, mydriasis-free fundus, fog screens, medical headlights, etc. In addition, in the fields of laser high-precision optics such as lidar, robots, and laser lighting, Liding Optoelectronics also has products that are continuously mass-produced.
At the mass production ceremony, Stan Technology also displayed its rich Micro LED chips and modules, including 0.13-inch FPC laminating chips, 0.13-inch bonding chips, 0.13-inch CMOS, 0.13-inch cutting chips, 0.2-inch blue light, 0.2 and 0.13-inch green light room temperature aging modules, AR glasses equipped with Stan Technology Micro LED chips, etc.

Information shows that Stan Technology has been committed to solving practical problems in the Micro LED technology and industrialization process, focusing on intellectual property layout and technological innovation in upstream and downstream fields such as Micro LED materials, chips, drivers, and key devices.
Sitan Technology received seed round investment when it was founded. Subsequently, Sitan Technology built the country's first dedicated Micro LED pilot line in Longhua District, Shenzhen, and started product verification and small batch trial production of Micro LED chips and display modules.
Since then, Stan Technology has completed 8 rounds of financing.Investors include well-known technology and venture capital companies such as Xiaomi, Stech, Sunny Industrial Investment, Sequoia China, and CICC Capital.
In terms of project construction progress, in December 2022, Stan Semiconductor was officially completed. Stan Semiconductor is the chip design base for the first phase of the Micro LED mass production line invested by Stan Technology in Xiamen. It focuses on the design of third-generation semiconductor optoelectronic chips and the design and tape-out of silicon-based CMOS driver chips, truly realizing a complete closed loop of Micro LED from design to tape-out, and from pilot testing to mass production.
In September 2023, Stan Technology completed a cooperation contract with Xiamen Bank and was approved with a comprehensive credit line of over RMB 500 million for the investment, construction and production operation of Xiamen's first Micro LED mass production line production base.
In terms of products and patents, Stan Technology has applied for more than 700 Micro LED-related intellectual property rights and has demonstrated 0.13-0.7-inch Micro LED display products. The product's maximum performance can reach a resolution of 11,400PPI, and the maximum green light brightness is close to 8 million nits.
Currently, Stan Technology has signed Micro LED product orders with multiple downstream manufacturers and end customers. As the Xiamen Micro LED project officially enters the mass production stage, related product orders will be accelerated on the Xiamen Micro LED production line.
