Sichuan launches major scientific and technological projects on integrated circuits and new displays

Recently, the Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology launched the implementation of the first batch of three major science and technology projects in Sichuan Province's six major advantageous industries, including advanced materials, equipment manufacturing, and electronic information, to promote key core technology research, major innovative product research and development, and achievement transfer and transformation demonstrations.

According to reports, the first batch of major scientific and technological projects are: first, major scientific and technological projects on vanadium and titanium rare earths; second, major scientific and technological projects on rail transit; third, major scientific and technological projects on integrated circuits and new displays.

Among them, the major science and technology project of integrated circuits and new displays focuses on the two fields of integrated circuits and new displays, laying out 14 major research tasks, focusing on the research and development of 15 major innovative products, and breaking through 36 key core technologies. The new display support directions and key points are as follows:

Research on full-screen flexible AMOLED display technology

(1) Research content. To meet the needs of flexible AMOLED full-screen ultra-high screen-to-body ratio and no-opening under-screen camera functions, carry out research on the hybrid drive design, development process and testing technology of multiple pixel densities for flexible AMOLED panels; study key technologies such as high pixel density, high MDL transmittance, high brightness and long-life display in the corresponding area of ​​the camera, and relevant indicators to meet industrialization requirements.

(2) Assessment indicators. Make breakthroughs in 3 key technologies, apply for or authorize more than 3 invention patents, and form 2 to 3 full-screen products. The technological achievements are applied to the new generation of under-screen camera phones, forming a true full screen.

(3) Relevant instructions. It is planned to support 1 project, with special funds of no more than 10 million yuan; enterprises take the lead in application, and joint application by industry, academia and research institutions is encouraged, and the ratio of self-raised funds to special funds applied for is not less than 2:1.

Research on high-quality, low-power foldable flexible AMOLED display technology

(1) Research content. Carry out simulation and design of flexible AMOLED ultra-thin stack structures to reduce power consumption without affecting display quality; research and develop ultra-thin bendable high-refractive index materials to meet thickness requirements and reliability test standards; conduct research on bending stack design, and optimize the stack design to avoid delamination and breakage of the EES structure and existing stacks. Develop foldable flexible AMOLED display products with excellent technical indicators such as bending radius, power consumption, display MDL reflectivity and thickness, dynamic bending at room temperature, and dynamic bending under temperature and humidity conditions.

(2) Assessment indicators. Make breakthroughs in 3 key technologies, apply for or authorize more than 3 invention patents, and form 2-3 products. The technological achievements are applied to high-resolution ultra-thin flexible folding terminal screens, supporting the manufacturing of large-size flexible display terminals.

(3) Relevant instructions. It is planned to support 1 project, with special funds of no more than 10 million yuan; enterprises take the lead in application, and joint application by industry, academia and research institutions is encouraged, and the ratio of self-raised funds to special funds applied for is not less than 2:1.

Research on key technologies of 8K laser tilt-shift zoom projection

(1) Research content. Carry out the design of a solution based on the galvanometer combination DLP chip to reduce the size of the optical system; research the tilt-shift lens technology to realize electric adjustment of the image position; break through the lens automatic focusing technology to solve the problem of deterioration of image quality and resolution at different positions after adjustment; break through the galvanometer automatic camera optimization technology to optimize the galvanometer parameters to ensure the best image quality. Develop high-resolution, high-brightness, high-color-gamut 8K laser tilt-shift telephoto projection display products.

(2) Assessment indicators. Make breakthroughs in 3 key technologies, apply for or authorize more than 3 invention patents, and form 2 to 3 products. The technological achievements are applied to laser projection display manufacturers and mass production is achieved.

(3) Relevant instructions. Research on ultra-low speckle laser display optical screen technology

(1) Research content. Study the autocorrelation characteristics and power spectrum distribution of composite speckles in laser displays, establish composite speckle models and experimental methods, and break through speckle suppression technology in the field of optical screens; establish optical simulations of optical screen fusion architecture, evaluation systems and testing methods for light utilization efficiency, provide the industry with more efficient evaluation standards, and promote industry technology upgrades; research Surface light shaping technology based on micro-nano structures breaks through the energy utilization limit of existing light diffusion technology, improves the light utilization efficiency of the screen, and realizes the environmental protection needs of miniaturization and energy saving of light machines. It conducts research on particle-based light scattering, absorption and radiation models to achieve better light scattering distribution and achieve the visual effect of ultra-clear and uniform image quality.

(2) Assessment indicators. Break through 3 key technologies, apply for or authorize more than 3 invention patents, formulate 1 industry standard, and form 2~3 products. Large-size, high-resolution laser projection display screens have achieved good application demonstration results in home environments, theater environments and other scenarios.

Research on high-precision mask technology for high-generation production lines

(1) Research content. Carry out research on mask coating technology, master high-precision photoresist coating technology for G6 and above production lines, and realize the autonomy of photoresist coating technology in this size field; carry out research on high-precision laser direct writing technology, master high-PPI graphics Mura control technology, and multi-graphics mixed Mura control technology; carry out research on graphic accuracy measurement and correction technology, and master high-precision DCM compensation technology; carry out research on high-precision defect repair technology, and master high-PPI graphics and complex graphics repair technology.

(2) Assessment indicators. Breakthroughs in 3 key technologies, applied for or authorized more than 3 invention patents, and formed 2-3 products. The research results are applied to the production and manufacturing of high-precision binary and half-tone masks of G6 and above.

Research on key technologies for localization of phosphorescent luminescent materials for AMOLED

(1) Research content. Carry out research on excited state control, molecular design, light-emitting device optimization and other aspects of the organic molecular luminescence process of OLED luminescent materials, complete the development of red, green, blue luminescence and main material structures of OLED organic luminescent materials and meet industrial applications, and form a domestic supply of organic phosphorescent luminescent materials with completely independent intellectual property rights.

(2) Assessment indicators. Break through 3 key technologies, apply for or authorize more than 3 invention patents, form 2~3 products, and use luminescent materials for OLED manufacturers.

(3) Relevant instructions. It is planned to support 1 project, with a special fund of no more than 7.6 million yuan; enterprises take the lead in application, and joint application by industry, academia and research institutions is encouraged, and the ratio of self-raised funds to applied for special funds is not less than 2:1.

Research on key technologies of large-width PMMA polarizer base film

(1) Research content. Carry out research on key technologies for the preparation of large-width PMMA base films, master optical resin co-extrusion technology and special co-extrusion formulas, and overcome the edge film breakage problem caused by the brittle defects of PMMA materials; master wide-width bidirectional synchronous optical stretching technology, and achieve uniform optical properties such as phase difference under the conditions of 2.5-meter wide width, ultra-thinness, and ultra-high operating speed.

(2) Assessment indicators. Develop a large-width polarizer base film with low moisture permeability, high transmittance, and uniform phase difference, break through 3 key technologies, apply for or authorize more than 3 invention patents, and form 2 to 3 products. The products support the localized preparation of core film materials for new display optical films. It has been applied in large-width polarizer manufacturers.
