On May 22, Xiaomi’s first SUV model YU7 was officially released. The PHUD Xiaomi HyperVision panoramic display installed in the car uses three Mini LED screens supplied by TCL Huaxing to directly reflect information to the black area under the front windshield. It has a 108 PPD super retina-level high-definition display, 1200nits visual peak brightness, global 903 zone light control, reflectivity SCE <1%, light transmittance ≤ 0.01%, and can achieve zero ghosting and distortion rate <1%.
Xiaomi releases its first low-reflection screen TV S Mini LED 2025 series
According to news on May 22, Xiaomi officially released the Xiaomi TV S Mini LED 2025 series at the 15th anniversary strategic new product launch conference. The initial price starts at 2,999 yuan. The first launch supports national subsidies, and the final price starts at 2,399.2 yuan. This is Xiaomi’s first low-reflection screen TV. The TV can reach a peak brightness of 1700nits, supports 4K 144Hz display, and can achieve up to 288Hz ultra-high refresh rate.
Huike launches 4K 240Hz Mini LED display
According to news on May 22, Huike launched the Mini LED display G32M12Max at the COMPUTEX 2025 exhibition. It has 4K resolution and 240Hz refresh rate. It has more than 9000 backlight partitions and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
KTC launches 27-inch 200Hz Mini LED display
According to news on May 18, a KTC 27-inch monitor with the model name "M27T6S" has been put on the JD platform. The product is equipped with a native 200Hz Mini LED panel with 2560×1440 resolution and 1152 partitions. The nominal response time is 2ms, the peak brightness can reach 1000 nits, the static contrast ratio is 1000:1, and it supports 8-Bit+ FRC’s 10-Bit color depth output is priced at 1,399 yuan.
MSI releases 27-inch Mini LED gaming monitor
According to news on May 16, MSI officially released its new 27-inch Mini LED gaming monitor-MPG 274URDFW E16M, which features dual-mode display and AI smart functions. The product is equipped with a fast-response IPS panel that supports 160Hz refresh rate at UHD resolution and up to 320Hz refresh rate at FHD resolution. The response time is as low as 0.5 milliseconds (GtG). The display has 1152 local dimming zones.
LGD releases Micro LED seamless splicing display and retractable central control screen
According to news on May 21, LG Display (LGD) revealed that at the recent SID 2025 exhibition, the company exhibited a 22-inch MicroLED display with a resolution of 480 x 540 and a refresh rate of 48 to 144Hz. Sliding splicing creates a seamless, ultra-wide display.
In addition, LGD also exhibited a 12-inch Micro LED retractable central control screen. The screen can expand to 150% of its original size without losing resolution or color fidelity during the stretching process, while still maintaining 100 pixels per inch (ppi) and full RGB color quality.
Pegatron exhibits Verge series Micro LED AR glasses

French institution breaks through the integration problem of Micro LED and photodetector
According to news on May 20, French research institution CEA-Leti published a paper demonstrating its latest achievements in the heterogeneous collaborative integration of gallium nitride Micro LED technology and organic photodetectors (OPD). On May 19, Kangping Technology announced that it planned to acquire 100% equity of Solu Electronics for RMB 198 million. The proposal has been reviewed and approved by the board of directors. According to the data, Solu Electronics was established in 2004. The sales of PCBA products and LED products are Solu Electronics’ main sources of income, accounting for more than 80% of sales in total. Its products are mainly targeted at overseas markets. Among them, LED series products include lighting LED power supplies for power tools and lighting LED PCB components.
Haoyang Co., Ltd.'s performing arts lighting intelligent manufacturing base was officially launched
On May 20, the launch ceremony of Haoyang Co., Ltd.'s performing arts lighting intelligent manufacturing base was held in Panyu. The base covers an area of nearly 17,000 square meters and has a construction area of approximately 80,000 square meters.
