As for the light color, monochromatic and white 2010 target is tonal, after 2-3 years will gradually realize color adjustable. In terms of flexibility, Guan Wenhui said that now the OLED is made of glass substrate, the next step will be the development of film packaging, can reduce the thickness of more than 50%. Future development of the use of flexible plastic substrate, OLED will have flexibility. At present, the laboratory has developed the product, the next 5-8 years can be achieved after commercialization.
In addition, one of the main characteristics of the light source is transparent texture OLED. At the moment OLED is closed, it looks like a mirror. But after 3-5 years, with the development of technology, OLED is expected to achieve transparency in the off state. So, OLED panel will be integrated lighting, and information display and other functions. At the same time, OLED has a significant performance advantage, can use plastic or metal sheet and other flexible substrate instead of glass substrate, preparation of flexible display. Compared with the ordinary hard screen display, flexible display has many advantages: impact resistance, seismic ability, light weight, small volume, more convenient to carry, and can therefore use tape type process similar to the newspaper printing process, low cost and so on, can not meet the need to display and lighting.
