Ministry of health of Canada to produce LED night light recall

September 23, 2011, the Ministry of health and Staples Promotional Products and Trane jointly announced the voluntary recall of Chinese made LED Night light.

The recalled LED night light 9.5 cm wide (3.75 inches), height of 4.5 cm (1.75 inches), containing flame retardant, a white LED bulb and transparent shell, a plug can be directly inserted into the socket. "ModEL SBD01", "E314462" and "China" printed on the back of the white base. The LED night light from January 20, 2011 to June 27th in Ontario, Canada as a free promotional items for distribution.

The number of recalled goods is about 500. The reason for the recall, after the LED night light power will overheat, burn or melt, may cause a slight burn consumers. Up to now, Trane has received 5 reports of overheating, burning or melting of the LED night light, but no personnel and property damage; the Ministry of health has not received any reports of incidents.

To this end, the Ministry of Health recommends that consumers immediately stop using the LED night light, and contact Camsing to refund.
