LED street lights will be fully covered in Baokang County, Hubei Province

By the end of June, all high-pressure sodium street lights in Baokang County will be replaced with LED street lights.

There are 833 street lamps on the main roads in Baokang City. Previously, they were all high-pressure sodium lamps with a power of 450 watts each, which are high-energy-consuming street lamps. The LED street lights replaced on the urban main roads have a power equivalent to 67.5 watts, saving 85% of electricity compared to high-pressure sodium lamps. Due to higher brightness, longer life and lower failure rate, LED street lights are energy-saving and environmentally friendly, which not only facilitates people's travel, but also reduces the maintenance labor intensity of electric workers.
