LED industry patent analysis and early warning report will be held

LED (semiconductor light source) as a high-tech industry in twenty-first Century, the rapid development of technology, wide application field, industrial drive strong energy-saving potential, in line with the development trend of low carbon and ecological economy of contemporary and emerging industries, is recognized as the world's most energy-efficient industrial development prospects. The relevant departments of the state to promote the development of China's technology in the field of LED, intelligence researchers and technical experts in the field of organization related patent examiners, established the LED industry patent analysis and early warning research group, conducted in-depth research and analysis of LED industry at home and abroad related patents and patent applications in China of foreign enterprises.

According to the survey, at present, the core technology of LED lighting industry is dominated by foreign enterprises, from the United States, Japan and Europe, enterprises not only occupy most of the market share, but also has the global LED lighting industry chain upstream region 80%-90% of the original invention patents, but in our country, apply for peripheral patent, lack of core patents, especially in white high power LED lamp, heat balance, lasting efficient fluorescent powder has been patented, Europe America and Japan monopoly. From 2010 onwards, there will be some of the important patents in the field of white LED expired, so, then there may be a fierce patent dispute. And most of the previous patents are concentrated in the middle and upper reaches of the field, with blue light epitaxy, chip field, white light field, with the long-term development of the industry, patent disputes gradually shifted to the downstream application.

However, the LED industry, the domestic LED enterprise patent awareness, awareness of intellectual property protection is not enough, plagiarism has become common practice, patent litigation surge in the LED patent dispute triggered at any moment when it is necessary to strengthen the understanding of patent, patent warning.
