India, Calcutta will be fully used LED lighting

The Calcutta Municipal Corporation (KMC) participated in the global LED outdoor lighting test organized by 2011~2012 (TCG). In the test, the use of LED lamps to replace a major section of Calcutta on the high-pressure sodium lamp, the successful realization of 52% energy saving.

Calcutta LED lighting replacement project will be jointly funded by the energy efficiency Bureau and the Calcutta Municipal Corporation, the specific will be possible through the Energy Service Companies or energy services company (ESCO) operations.
