Researchers at the Deakin University Motion Lab in Australia have created a new form of art stage performance by modern technology and named it Multiverse. The technology allows viewers to watch the scene of the 3D dance and other stage performances through 3D glasses. Multiverse uses an infrared camera to track the movements of the performer, and a system connected to the computer to process the collected data in real time, so that the sound, image and light can always match the dancer's movements.
Due to the traditional tungsten lamp stage lighting will produce interference to the infrared signal, so the performance of the lighting designer Damian using LED lighting to achieve the stage lights. In practice, many lighting settings will make people look like in the 3D view, "I need to adopt a LED lamp, the light is three-dimensional space of the stage, and let the performer and the perfect integration of 3D space on the vision," Kolb said.
