Hangzhou Silan microelectronics recently launched LED lighting used in high power factor flyback PWM controller -- SD7530. The chip has the advantages of low starting current (less than 5uA) and high power factor (greater than 0.95), which can be widely used in LED fluorescent lamps and other LED lighting products, the maximum power can be 60W.
Internal SD7530 integrated analog multiplier with high performance and zero current detector, respectively for power factor correction and ensure that the critical conduction mode. The chip also integrates a current sense comparator with a blanking circuit and an output driver circuit with peak currents of -600mA and +800mA, which is ideal for driving high current MOSFET.
In addition, chip built-in soft start circuit, can prevent the initiation of light load output voltage overshoot, reduce MOSFET voltage stress, improve the reliability of the circuit. The chip also has a variety of abnormal state protection functions, such as short circuit protection function, power over voltage protection function, VCC undervoltage lockout function, the original over-current protection function and overheating protection function, etc.. The short circuit protection function can make the chip in the abnormal conditions of output short-circuit, output short circuit protection to obtain extremely low power consumption, to avoid damage to the circuit; and a power supply overvoltage protection function can ensure the chip in the abnormal conditions of short circuit or open circuit optocoupler, can effectively protect the system to avoid damage.
