Application of LED in food lighting

At present, supermarket food is cooked, chilled foods, general use of fluorescent lighting. Anti dazzle and uniform lighting device

Researchers use high efficiency, high brightness LED light source, through the reflection surface reflection to achieve the desired effect of the surface without glare glare. At present, researchers have developed the use of high reflection efficiency of aluminum coated reflective surface lighting demonstration equipment, its lighting effect has reached the requirements of uniform lighting. The technology can be used for uniform illumination of vegetables, meat and baked foods.

Two: intelligent lighting control device

The researchers also developed an intelligent control device for LED lighting. Monitoring the radiation spectrum of vegetables, meat, or baked foods by sensors in the west of Sydney. According to the change of radiation spectrum, the intensity of illumination is adjusted in time to achieve the best lighting effect.

In the next stage, the researchers will focus on how to integrate these two devices, the design of both the above two aspects of the new lighting technology products. The study was supported by the joint research project of the German Federal Ministry of education, "HIREFLED". Furlong Hoff Institute of laser technology and Alanod, Alux-LuxarundBaero and other 3 companies jointly participated in the development of the project.

If the success of the study, the use of LED lighting to replace the traditional lighting, will make the shelf life of the food extension, making the color of the food more real, more conducive to customer selection of food.
