The "Statement" stated that it "understands, respects and supports" the board of directors resolution passed by NVC Lighting recently, which was to remove Wu Changjiang as CEO, appoint Wang Donglei as CEO, and remove Wu Changyong, Mu Yu and Wang Minghua from their positions as vice presidents; it is "confident and full of expectations" for NVC Lighting under the new leadership team; it "congratulates" Wang Donglei as CEO and is willing to continue to "comprehensive cooperation and create brilliance" with NVC Lighting under Wang Donglei's leadership.
Regarding Wang Donglei's latest "alliance formation" move, Wu Changjiang responded in an interview with a reporter from the Shanghai Stock Exchange on the afternoon of the 12th, "To truly win everyone's heart depends on your thinking, your strategy, your expertise, and your character. This is very critical."
When answering the reporter's "plan to return to NVC after being dismissed," Wu Changjiang paused for a moment and said: "I have not been dismissed yet. I am still the chairman and legal representative of several companies, and I am still the executive director of the listed company, because there has been no transfer yet." He said, "The transfer must follow procedures. He (Wang Donglei) does not comply with the procedures now."
