He Yiguang Display flat OLED module new line equipment moved in
From March 15th to March 17, Jiangsu He Yiguang Display Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "He Yiguang Display") flat OLED module new line completed the equipment move-in.
According to reports, the number of equipment introduced in the new line reaches 33 units with a total weight of approximately 480 tons. The move-in of new equipment is an important milestone in the development process of Heyiguang Display, helping the company achieve its goal of "providing customers with a rich and diverse range of OLED display products".
He Yiguangxian said that the company has achieved full production and full sales. In the face of continuously growing order demand, the commissioning of this new line is an important measure to fulfill customer commitments and ensure delivery capabilities.
Information shows that Heyiguangxian focuses on the research and development and production of AMOLED professional modules, covering the full process capabilities of flexible/hard screens (1-17 inches). Its products cover high-end consumer electronics and various industry fields such as mobile phones, laptops, tablets, smart wearables, vehicles, AR/VR, and industrial displays.
As one of the major industrial projects in Jiangsu Province, Heyiguang Display has a total investment of 6 billion yuan and is committed to building the largest single OLED module factory in China. The project has a planned monthly production capacity of 7 million pieces and is divided into two phases of construction: construction will start in December 2023, and the first AMOLED product will be lit in August 2024; the first batch order delivery will be completed in February 2025, and a total of 500,000 pieces of medium and large-sized products will be delivered to brand customers in August of the same year.
The first batch of equipment for the TAC membrane project of Tianlu Technology was put into operation
On March 18, the first batch of equipment for the TAC membrane project of Tianlu Technology in Chuzhou, Anhui was completed.
According to reports, on the eve of the Spring Festival, the liquid mixing tank and some carbon fiber rollers have been put on site. The production process of TAC film is divided into liquid conditioning, casting, stretching, drying, winding and other stages. The liquid conditioning tank located at the front end of the process is the first to be introduced this time. This process section uses solvents to modify cellulose triacetate. In order to ensure the purity and stability of the solution, and improve the dissolution efficiency and uniformity, it has higher requirements for the tank.
The project is led by Anhui Jiguang New Materials Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Tianlu Technology, with a total investment of 3 billion yuan and an area of 108 acres. It is planned to build a "high-end TAC optical grade film R&D and production base." At present, the company has completed factory construction and core equipment procurement.
According to the plan, the equipment installation and commissioning will be completed in the second half of 2026, and it is expected to enter the trial production stage by the end of the year. The laboratory trial film has passed the verification of key indicators of downstream customers, and its thickness, light transmittance, UV resistance and other properties have all reached international standards. The planned annual production capacity of the first phase of the project is 60 million square meters, and subsequent expansion arrangements for the second phase will be carried out depending on the progress of the first phase.
Polarizer is an important component in LCD and OLED display modules. High-end TAC optical grade film is the key material in polarizer, accounting for more than 50% of the total cost of film materials. It is the key to the profitability of polarizer companies. Although the global production of polarizers is mainly concentrated in China, domestic TFT-level high-end TAC films are highly dependent on imports. In order to change this situation, Tianlu Technology joined forces with panel manufacturer BOE and polarizer company Sanlipu in 2023 to jointly establish a subsidiary, Anhui Jiguang, to focus on promoting the industrialization of the TAC film project.
The arrival of the first batch of equipment is a key development for the Tianlu Technology TAC membrane project from planning to implementation. After the project is put into production, it is not only expected to fill the gap in domestic high-end TAC film production capacity, but also promote Tianlu Technology's transformation from an optical film supplier to a core materials company.
