Application scope
- this standard applies only to LED lamps that meet the following conditions:

Remarks

Label requirements: is it suitable for industrial frequency ballast lamps?
Specification: clear and detailed description of the lamp replacement.
Test requirements:

In the lamp directly replace the traditional fluorescent lamp, can not affect the safety of lamps.

IEC/EN60598-1 lamps general safety requirements version update
In May 2014, general safety requirements of IEC60598-1:2014 standard (Eighth Edition) officially published, the standard to replace the previous version of IEC60598-1:2008 (version seventh); in January 2015, EN60598-1:2015 EN also entered into force, and in October 20, 2017 officially replaced the previous version of EN60598-1:2008+A11:2009.
Major updates
1, according to the standard update: Based on the structural characteristics of different products, updated some IEC/EN60598-2 standard.
2, with LED lamps as the focus of attention, increase the LED lamps on the optical, electrical and structural safety requirements.
3, update the ClassIII product part of the test requirements.
Specific update project
1) on the basis of the above 3 aspects, the update of the standard:
A (IEC/EN60598-2-6) tungsten lamp with built-in transformer: the new standard will be canceled after the formal entry into force, all tests have been included in the new version of IEC/EN60598-1.
B (IEC/EN60598-2-20) the new version of the official version of the:2015-09-30 (light string) will only be for ordinary lamp strings, no longer contain sealed water pipes (RopeLight).
C) (IEC/EN60598-2-21) (RopeLight): the requirements of the water pipe lamp are separated from the original lamp string standard, and the standard is published in September 30, 2015.
2 (LED) requirements for lighting fixtures include:
