Biological safety is a new problem of human face, it is a world topic, along with the rapid development of optical biology research in recent years, LED biological safety has attracted the attention of the international community, has been attached great importance to all aspects of international and domestic industry and research such as: the United States UL8750 standards the LED biological safety into the safety requirements of products; UL (China) laboratory also has established optical and biological safety testing equipment complete set; of which the United States has carried out NIST optical radiation safety testing research, Chinese experts have also been involved in the testing research in NIST. Especially now the face of the domestic LED industry vigorous development trend, China will actively carry out research on biological safety at the forefront in the world, in order to avoid the whole industry in a passive position because of the neglect of Photobiological Safety, and that the unity of biological safety technology can effectively coordinate the healthy development of the industry. Fortunately, the current China's LED products in the bio radiation safety measurement and evaluation in the international arena is playing a leading role, and lead the international standard. As long as our country has established the biological safety standards recognized by the world, we can master the right to speak, so as to guide the formulation of production upstream and safety standards, further to establish a complete set of LED standard with independent intellectual property rights.
