The EU issued a warning to China's LED power supply or the risk of electric shock

August 29, 2014, the European Commission non food rapid alert system (RAPEX) issued a consumer warning on China's LED power supply. The state of the case is Finland. The LED power supply is named "Waterproof LED Power Supply".

The power supply is packed in white cardboard box, the electrical parameters: input voltage: 110-260V, 50 Hz, 0.37 ~ 0.26A; output voltage: 12V, 3.7A, 45W, LK I, IP67. The product's style / model is 12V 45W IP67 / LNM-45, the organization for economic co operation and development industry classification code (OECD Portal Category) is 78000000 (electrical).

The insulation performance of the LED power supply is not qualified, the creepage distance between the primary and secondary windings is not enough. As a result, users may be affected by the use of electric shock. The product does not comply with the EU low voltage directive requirements and relevant European standards EN61347.

Currently, the Finland authorities have taken measures to withdraw from the market and recall of the product.
