Samsung Evident authorized by the use of quantum dot LED patented technology

America Evident Technologies, announced the day before Inc., the company has with South Korea's Samsung Electronics signed a comprehensive patent on Evident quantum dots LED technology licensing and purchase agreement.

Under the agreement, Evident will authorize the use of Samsung Evident all over the world with the quantum dot LED related product patent portfolio, ranging from the manufacture of quantum dot nanomaterials have been covered to the final LED production.

According to reports, the quantum dots are nano sized semiconductor crystals, from solar energy conversion to thermoelectric and even LED these electronic applications have broad business prospects. Evident is the world's first quantum dot LED commercialization of the company, and in 2007 launched a related product.

Thermoelectric devices can be used for solid state heating and cooling, and can also be used to convert waste heat directly into electrical energy. Evident said that the company is currently focused on the use of its core quantum dot materials technology to develop the next generation of thermoelectric applications.
