SHARP responded to exit LED expected annual net loss of 1 billion 500 million

SHARP, the Japanese electronics maker, said on Friday it had no plans to withdraw from solar cells or LED, and denied reports that it would withdraw from the business.

SHARP also said that there is no plan to modify the current fiscal year ending March 31st profit forecast. Previously reported that SHARP may be a full year net loss of up to 250 billion yen (about RMB 12 billion 898 million).

SHARP is currently expected annual net loss of 30 billion yen (about RMB 1 billion 547 million yuan). Japanese media had said that SHARP may be a loss of nearly 200 billion yen (about RMB 10 billion 318 million yuan).
