SHARP, the Japanese consumer electronics maker, said the company aims to create 200 billion yen ($1 billion 800 million) in revenue from its LED business by the year 2012/13. SHARP said earlier this month that it will cross the energy efficient LED lighting market in order to build a new pillar of profit in the panel and solar cell business.
