Nigeria National Arts Theater "Dressed" LED Lighting

The National Arts Theater of Nigeria is a landmark building in its capital, Lagos. Recently, Philips lit up the building with a specially designed LED lighting system during its pan-African roadshow.
The Nigerian National Arts Theater covers an area of 23,000 square meters and is 31 meters high. It was mainly built to preserve, present and promote Nigerian local art and culture. The LED lighting system designed and installed by Philips includes a total of 48 sets of LED lighting fixtures, which can change various lighting colors according to different situations. There are also 30 white LEDs used to highlight the distinctive 30 columnar structure of the theater building. In addition, the high-efficiency lighting system provided by Philips can save 80% of energy than the original lamps and has a lifespan of 100,000 hours, thus saving a lot of maintenance costs.
Lagos is the fifth stop of Philips’ pan-African roadshow this year. Philips will arrive in Accra, the capital of Ghana, in the middle of this month. The entire project will be completed in mid-September this year.
