Research data show that, because LED is a cold light source, semiconductor lighting itself has no pollution to the environment, compared with incandescent lamps, fluorescent lamps, energy efficiency can reach more than 90%. Wang Ruiguang said that at present, some large shopping malls in Changchun as well as new enterprises and institutions have adopted the LED lighting fixtures. He hoped that such lighting can also be extended in the people's home.

Wang Ruiguang introduction, although the price of LED lighting will be high, but it can bring benefits in terms of energy saving. Because in the same brightness, LED power consumption is only 1/10 of ordinary incandescent lamp, fluorescent lamp 1/2, energy saving ratio can be more than 50%.
