The secret of Soraa's rapid growth lies in the company's LED lights. Common white LED is made of yellow fluorescent material on a blue LED chip. Therefore, the wavelength of light is not balanced, so it is difficult to improve Ra.
In addition, Soraa said the company's LED lamp also has the following characteristics, that is, the light emitted from the LED light (beam) is more uniform, free to change the shape of the beam. In order to change the shape of the beam, an optical element named "SNAP" is installed in the light of the lamp. In order to facilitate disassembly of the SNAP, a magnet is disposed in the disassembly section. SNAP not only can change the shape of the beam, but also change the color temperature.

Soraa also highlights the characteristics of the company's products to improve luminous efficiency faster. The luminous efficiency of white LED light of the company's development is in a way though, but at an average annual rate of about 30% increase, Soraa said confidently, "ordinary white LED lamp, the growth rate of more than the blue chip LED". Purple LED not only high luminous efficiency, but also improve the efficiency of fast, because purple LED is manufactured using GaN substrate. On the LED substrate, the GaN semiconductor chips are stacked on the GaN substrate, so the crystalline quality of the GaN semiconductor layer is relatively high. Also known as the "GaN on GaN" LED.
Ordinary blue LED chip is made on sapphire substrate. Due to the difference in the lattice constants of GaN semiconductor and sapphire, it is easy to appear the crystal defect. However, there is little difference in lattice constant with GaN substrate, so it is difficult to find the crystal defect. Compared with sapphire substrate, the dislocation density can be reduced to about 1/1000.

Triangle LED chip
LED chip shape is also very unique. The ordinary LED chip shape of four corners (four columns), and the Soraa chip as the triangle (triangular). As a result, the efficiency of the light emitted from the light-emitting layer of the LED chip to the outside of the chip is improved to about 90%. The reason why the triangle shape can be made because of the high crystalline quality. Soraa said that the high color rendering index, beautiful white light, uniform brightness, high beam shape freedom and so on have been well received by lighting designers, hotels, restaurants, retail stores, etc.. In Japan, such as the adoption of the hotel.
