LED insufficient demand price decline has not eased

Recently, industry stakeholders pointed out that since the fourth quarter of 2010, the demand of LED application is still not back to temperature, including inventory adjustment continued large size panel and lighting needs better than the market expected, the LED price pressure from the third season so far not ease.

LED price in large-size backlight applications, due to the panel shipment back to temperature conditions as expected, the manufacturers adjust shipment and LED needs not see effect of temperature, LED TV backlight applications mainstream specifications 5630 of the price by about 9%.

Between large size panel applications LED or about 5%~9%, with TV backlight applications the most obvious decline; while highpowerLED lighting applications also decline more than 12%.

LED price estimate is expected in the first quarter of 2011 the bottom gradually warmed; therefore, the obvious price pressure is expected to fall in the first quarter after the release. Estimated in the first quarter of 2011, the price of LCD TV applications LED is still nearly 9% decline.
