Domestic LED outdoor lighting is shrinking

According to market research firm StrategiesUnlimited released the latest "outdoor and large space lighting market analysis and forecast" the LED report, the United States in the field of LED outdoor lighting has achieved a leading position.

The report believes that although China has installed a lot of outdoor lighting, but because of quality problems, in 2011 China's outdoor LED lighting market size has shrunk. While in America, the United States Department of energy, solid city street lighting association and the American Association of lighting design efforts, awareness of the continuous improvement of the quality, promote the traditional lighting of the transition to LED.

LED package price has fallen by 20-25% since the fourth quarter of 2010, the average price of StrategiesUnlimited also predicted outdoor lighting will continue to decline in 2011, and this trend is likely to continue in 2012 and accelerated. From 2010 to 2015, although the composite LED lamp shipments of the average annual growth rate (CAGR) is expected to be 26%, but because of the price cut, revenue compound annual growth rate is expected to only 11%, is expected to reach $544 billion in 2015 revenue.
