Cree earnings, financial measurement is better than market expectations, after the stock price higher

The light emitting diode (LED) upstream of CREE in 22 grain maker announced late on the 2008 in the second quarter of fiscal year (2007 10-12 months) results: the industry earnings more than $0.14, better than the Reuters survey of 0.11 dollars; revenue increased 34% year (quarter by 5%) to $119 million, better than the $89 million 700 thousand Reuters survey.

Prospects this season (1-3 months), Cree industry expected earnings per share would be between $0.14-0.16, revenue forecast will be between 1.20-1.25 billion dollars. Analysts on average expected earnings per share / Cree industry this quarter revenue of $0.12 /1.216 billion dollars.

Cree 22 in normal trading hours fell $25.65 to close at $0.50%; after hours rose to $25.90, or up to 0.97%.
