California invested $500 thousand to boost LED manufacturing technology upgrade

Co funded the California Energy Commission and the U.S. Department of energy, boost the application materials company (Applied Materials) improved LED manufacturing process. The project is scheduled for completion in July 2012. California is expected to create 1600 jobs by 2015. Through the improvement of production equipment, improve the manufacturing process, especially the development of MOCVD, the project will achieve the goal of reducing production costs by 40%.

Improve production process will reduce operating costs, improve LED efficiency, reduce waste, which will also meet the requirements of future target specifications.
