CREE announced the recall of 700 thousand stored fire hazard LEDT8 lamp

June 4th, the United States CREE lighting company announced on the part of the LED T8 lamp voluntary recall, the recall of 700000.

CREE said that the resistance between the spring contact and the printed circuit board (PCB) of the lamp tube would create an electric arc that would cause overheating, which could cause the lamp to melt and cause fire and burns. Users should immediately stop using the product and contact CREE for free replacement.

The recall was mainly sold through two ways, one by Home Depot (Jia Debao) sold to residential lighting users, and the dealer is sold to commercial lighting users by two.
