British test found that most of the LED lamp does not reach the declared life

British consumer organization inspection found that the majority of the market on the use of LED lights did not meet the number of manufacturers claimed.

General LED lamp manufacturers will claim their lights can be 15000 hours, or even 25000 hours. The latest EU standards are relaxed, as long as 6000 hours even qualified.

The British consumer group has collected 230 LED light bulbs with different brands and wattage. They turn on the lights for 15 minutes and then turn off the lights for a minute or so, and the lights are broken.

The results show that there are 5 light bulbs in less than 6000 hours to turn off the lights, the less than 10000 hours of the point of less than 66 hours. There is a long distance from the company's own 15000 hours.

Consumer research organization said, LED lamp is a long life appeal. If life is not long enough, the price so high without reason.
