According to reports, due to the huge number of night lighting installations in Beijing, the Municipal Department of lighting energy saving has made strict provisions. Lighting source, lamps and lanterns must comply with the technical standards for energy conservation, the new road lighting to disable multiple light source, no control light inefficient lamps, prohibit the use of powerful searchlights and high-power floodlight.

In accordance with the opinions requirement, Beijing road lighting main road lighting rate must reach 98%, sub roads, road lighting rate should reach 96%.
